 why I got into Acupuncture?

I started to get excited about acupuncture when it helped me to get my health back when I became ill in college with mononucleosis and strepp throat that lingered for over 4 months, and I could not afford to be sick anymore.  I was ready to try Acupuncture, although I was completely needle phobic.  It worked wonders in just 2 weeks.

I continued acupuncture for several years, learning how my own body responded and reacted to this medicine by working in an Acupuncture clinic, and gaining valuable knowledge on patient management.  After the Masters program in Acupuncture began by working in a private clinic setting, followed by a year at a national drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility where I focused treatments on medical providers who were looking for pain management, without addictive medications.   I have practiced in a private clinic setting for over 5 years.

I am motivated by seeing that “spark” of potential when someone is regaining their health, realizing the potential that they can be pain-free, active and limitless.  I have had remarkable success with treating acute and chronic pain.  Many of my patients are impressed that pain is gone within a few treatments and not to return.  I have treated cerebral palsy in a pediatric patient (starting at 6 month old) and the results that these treatments have made are so encouraging,  even the medical doctors are starting to take notice and wonder how the results are occurring.  This is the beauty of Acupuncture and my attitude that nothing in impossible with the human body.

My passion is that everyone should experience being heard.  It is not in your head, you don’t need medications to mask the pain.

Wouldn’t it be nice if your body was in balance.
